PepPick is a home for recommendations. Independent writers publish the guides, reviews, ranked lists and honest tips they would happily pass on to a friend, and anyone can read them for free.
The idea
A good pick saves someone time. It says what is worth trying, why, and what to watch out for. PepPick gives the people who write that kind of thing a clean, fast blog of their own, without ads or feeds fighting for attention.
How the site is put together
- A blog per writer. Each writer publishes at their own address, with a profile, a short bio and a start-here introduction.
- Categories inside each blog. Writers sort their picks into categories, so a long archive stays easy to browse.
- Topics across the site. Tags connect related picks from different writers on shared topic pages.
Reading
Reading costs nothing, and there is no account to make. The whole site has an RSS feed at /feed.xml, and every writer has a feed of their own, linked from their blog.
Comments
Readers can reply to any pick with just a name. Every guest comment is reviewed before it appears, so threads stay useful and spam stays out.
Writing here
